The Wie community of IEEE SB MESCE conducted “BUILD A CARD” a workshop on how to make cards on 20th march 2019 with an average of 45 interested students joining us.

Societies all around the world have benefited from the work of women inventors, designers and artists. But data show that fewer women than men use the intellectual property system. That gender gap matters for a number of reasons, perhaps most importantly because gender equality is a human right and because we are all better off when women and girls are empowered to make their full contribution to innovation and creativity.

Our students branch has decided to conduct some events that will help to succeed creativity in students. As a part of this on 20th march 2019 we started a workshop “Build a card”. The main aim of the workshop was to give basic ideas about creating cards and gifts . The section was conducted by Mrs Hanna Hanaan Abdul Haq. The workshop was conducted on the monitoring of Ms, Shilpa Suresh staff in charge and a group of 10 volunteers of our student branch

Students actively participated in the event. The response for the section was indeed impressive and conveyed their enthusiasm. The event went off very well and was appreciated by one and all.
