State of Facilitation 2025 Report out now!

Read on for essential information and expert insights on what is changing in the world of facilitation and workshop design.

Our goal

To create a comprehensive report on the practice of facilitation and build a resource for facilitators everywhere.

Who is a facilitator, and what do they do? In the first two editions of SessionLab’s State of Facilitation report we learned a lot about the professional paths, practices and challenges of facilitators worldwide.

This year, for the third edition, we look into the trends shaping facilitation today. We’ve added two special focus sections: one on inhouse facilitation, the other on GenAI. Who is using AI, and how? What sectors is facilitation contributing to? What are the most commonly used tools and approaches?
