2023 Annual Meeting of the IEEE PES Power System Relaying and Control Satellite Committee-China will be held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China from May 19th to 21st. This annual meeting has convened experts and scholars in the field of power system relaying and control technology to share and deliberate on the cutting-edge research advancements and experiences, with the aim of making a valuable contribution to the development of power systems in the context of renewable power generation and power electronic devices. This meeting not only serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and sharing wisdom, but also an opportunity for mutual inspiration and growth.

The meeting will last for two days and will compose of three sessions: keynote speeches, youth scholar forum, and expert forum. The keynote speeches are led by academicians from China and the United States, with the participation of renowned experts and scholars in the field of protection and control. The Youth Scholar Forum consists of two themes: education and research. Associate Professor Chen Xiaolong from Tianjin University and Professor Deng Feng from Changsha University of Technology, will provide a report on sharing national excellent teaching achievements and experiences. Dr. Li Peng from State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Research Institute and Professor SOHRAB MISSAEIDI from Beijing Jiao Tong University will report on the cutting-edge research achievements in the field of new energy integrating with power system in recent years. At the same time, experts and scholars will exchange and discuss industry hot and difficult issues such as the challenges and corresponding measures brought by the development of new power systems to relay protection.
